Integrated electronics has been the main technology driver over the past decades. With the availability of very deep sub-micron CMOS manufacturing technologies enabling gigascale integration this will provide new opportunities for applications like personal communication and computing, however, also challenges to the development of such integrated systems (System on Chip Design, VLSI Design, IC Design). Design engineers who master the complexity of integrated systems and have a broad understanding in technology and devices are required in industry.

Integrated Systems and Circuits Design, ISCD, a Master Degree Program (FH-Magisterstudiengang) offered at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, will provide the necessary skills to master these challenges.

Integrierte Elektronik war das Gebiet mit dem größten Technologiefortschritt in den letzten Jahrzehnten.

Mit der Verfügbarkeit von sub-mikrometer CMOS Fertigungstechnologien sind Anwendungen wie Personal Computer oder Smart Phones erst möglich geworden, aber auch die Herausforderungen an die Entwickler solch hoch-integrierter Systeme gewachsen (System on Chip Design, VLSI Design, IC Design).

Design Ingenieure, welche die Komplexität integrierter Systeme beherrschen und ein breites Wissen über Technologie und Schaltungstechnik besitzen, werden von der Industrie intensiv gesucht.  

Integrated Systems and Circuits Design, ISCD, ein FH-Masterstudiengang an der Fachhochschule Technikum Kärnten, vermittelt den Studierenden alle notwendigen Fähigkeiten, um diese Herausforderungen zu meistern.
